We were founded to close gaps in access opportunities and to enable more women to decide on their professional future with autonomy, confidence, and networks.

Who we are

Our Story: Where We Started, and Where We're Headed

Our Impact

For over a decade, we've been driving the future of thousands of women

2014

Laboratoria was founded in Lima with a pilot group of 15 women. That first cohort marked the start of a model that would go on to transform lives through technology in Latin America.

2015

We are expanding our model to Mexico and Chile, opening up technology opportunities for more women in Latin America.

2017

We expanded Laboratoria to the United States from California, strengthening our connection with the global tech ecosystem to amplify our impact.

2018

We arrived in Brazil, one of the largest technology markets in the region, adapting our model to new cultural and linguistic contexts.

2020

We transformed our programs into a completely remote format, eliminating geographical barriers and expanding access to technological training.

2024

We are reimagining Laboratoria to respond to a job market transformed by artificial intelligence, strengthening the employability of more women.

2025

We officially launched Kickstart Your Career in Peru, Chile, Mexico, and Colombia to promote employability and continuous professional growth for more women.
