Activa tu Carrera is aimed at women over 18 years old who live in Peru, Mexico, Colombia, or Chile.

This program is not for you if...

  • Are you looking to start a business or work independently?.
  • Are you looking to completely change your profession (for example, moving from marketing to software development with no prior experience)?.
  • You are still pursuing university studies and do not have previous work experience.

If you get a job while participating in the program, you can continue attending sessions and activities, and maintain access to content until the end of the six weeks. The support continues, even if your employment situation changes along the way.

Yes. You can reapply in a new cohort.

Not being selected in a previous call does not mean that "Activa tu Carrera" was not for you. We have a limited number of spots available in each cohort.

"Activate Your Career" is a remote, live 100% program. Over the course of 6 weeks, you'll participate in two weekly sessions via Zoom (Mondays and Thursdays), in addition to working on individual activities that you can complete at your own pace.

Throughout the program, you will go through 4 modules:

– Module 1: Self-Awareness
– Module 2: Job Matching
– Module 3: Interview Preparation
– Module 4: Networks and Connections

You can participate from wherever you are, as long as you have internet access and are available to be present and focused during the sessions.

We are a non-profit organization that drives employability for women in Latin America. Our work is made possible by the support of donors, corporate partners, and the contributions of the participants in our programs in the region.

Every contribution we receive is reinvested to expand access and support more women in developing skills, confidence, and networks that bring them closer to quality jobs and sustainable careers in the digital age.

At Laboratoria, we believe that financial access shouldn’t limit how far you can go. That’s why we offer scholarships covering 25%, 50%, 75%, and even 100% of the cost of the “Activa tu carrera” program. You can apply for the percentage that best fits your situation.

Before finalizing the application form, you will find a section about scholarships and support. There you can indicate what percentage would allow you to participate with peace of mind.

In this section, we will ask you some questions to understand what type of support you need so that we can ensure you make the most of this experience.

We understand that talking about your financial situation can be a sensitive topic. That's why we will handle your information with the respect, confidentiality, and care it deserves.

Scholarship awards are subject to scholarship availability in each cohort.

Completing the form will take you between 30 and 45 minutes, so we recommend setting aside a time when you can do it without interruption.

This is what you will find during the application process:

  • Questions to mark, written questions, and questions where you can share your experience through a voice response.
  • A space to upload your resume. It doesn't matter if it's not updated or in its final version yet; we'll work on it during the program.

If you need to take a break, don't worry. Your application will be saved automatically, so you can pick it up later right where you left off.

When the call for applications closes, our team will review all submissions and send an email to everyone who applied, whether they were selected or not.

The response will be sent to the email address you used to submit your application, so it's important to verify that it is written correctly.

If you don't find our email in your inbox, we recommend checking your spam or junk mail folder as well.

Once you complete "Activate Your Career," you can join our membership program for a monthly fee of US$29 to gain access to a comprehensive package that includes hands-on learning programs, personalized mentoring, events, exclusive content, and a community of women who will support you in your professional growth.

Currently, "Activa tu carrera" is the entry point to become part of the Laboratoria community and access the following stages of support through our membership.

For now, we do not have direct access to the Growth Path. We believe in the importance of going through the complete process from the beginning, as each stage builds the foundation for the next.
